7th International Conference On Energy Research and Development

The conference organized by ASHRAE and Kuwait University will take place November 19-21, 2019.The theme of the conference is “Advances in Energy Research & Development.” Special emphasis will be on emerging energy conversion technologies, conservation and management strategies. The objective is to optimize the utilization of basic energy resources in the major energy consuming sectors in the arid region of the Arabian Peninsula.

Venue and Dates

The seventh conference will take place on November 19-21, 2019 at one of the 5-Star Hotels in Kuwait.

The early registration fee is KD 112 (US $ 400) and includes a reception, lunches, dinners, coffee breaks, banquet, tours, and the conference proceedings. The late registration fee is KD 140 (US $ 500). The student registration fee is KD 20 (US $ 65).

  • Call for Papers

    To contribute to the success of the conference and to the development of new policies and strategies, we invite you to participate in the conference.

    Interested authors are invited to submit abstract on the topics related to, but not limited to, the topics mentioned above not later than January 20, 2019. The abstract should be in word or pdf format and should not exceed more than a page. The abstract should contain the title of the paper, five (5) keywords, authors’ names and affiliation, name of corresponding author together with email and full postal address, telephone and fax numbers.

    Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by January 31, 2019. Full papers are to be submitted, based on the guidelines for preparing the manuscripts, only after the acceptance of abstracts. The complete text of the paper should be submitted by March 25, 2019. The Scientific Committee of the conference will peer review the papers. Papers that may require revisions should be re-submitted by May 21, 2019.

    1. Submission of abstracts, January 20, 2019.
    2. Notification of acceptance of abstract, January 31, 2019.
    3. Submission of complete manuscript, March 25, 2019.
    4. Final acceptance June 10, 2019.
  • Travel and Accommodation

    Participants are responsible for their travel and hotel accommodation.  Free accommodation will be provided to the authors presenting papers.  Assistance will be provided for hotel reservations, entry visas and reception at the Kuwait International Airport.
