References. This request refers to Standard 15-1994, Subclauses 8.13.2 through 8.13.5

Background. Subclause 8.13.2 requires a refrigerant detector which will activate an alarm and mechanical ventilation in accordance with 8.13.4 at flow rates prescribed in 8.13.5, at a value not greater than the corresponding TLV-TWA (or toxicity measure consistent therewith).

Question. Is it the intent of 8.13.2 through 8.13.5 that the mechanical ventilation system have a source of emergency electric power available.
