AHR Expo

The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) evolved out of the Power and Mechanical Engineering Exposition which was launched in 1920 by IEC, and featured power generation equipment, as well as heating and ventilating products.

In the late 1920's, the Power Show featured more and more heating and ventilating products which inspired IEC to create the International Heating and Ventilating Show in 1930. Since then, the Expostition has been presented in key markets throughout the U.S.

Today, the Show, which is known as the AHR Expo, is the largest HVAC&R event in America featuring over 1,600 exhibiting companies and attracting over 30,000 HVAC&R professionals worldwide! The event is co-sponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI). It is held every year in conjunction with the ASHRAE Winter Meeting.
