ASHRAE Promotes Building Performance in Salt Lake City

Online Registration Now Open!ASHRAE is implementing a NEW registration process beginning with this meeting. You will receive instant detailed confirmation for your meeting registration. What this means to you is a confirmation that your registration has been processed, that you are confirmed for any events you plan to attend, and a receipt for the amount paid. Your credit card is charged at the time you register online. Registrations received after May 23 will be processed at onsite pricing and the registration process will need to be completed on site for printing badges and picking up tickets. Located 10 minutes from downtown Salt Lake, Salt Lake City International Airport is served by 16 airlines offering over 800 scheduled flights per day. Delta offers discounted airline tickets to those who book online.
Where to StayThe Marriott, Hilton and Shiloh Hotels are currently full and we have added another hotel. Additional rooms are now available at the Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, 215 West South Temple, (801) 531-7500. The Radisson is approximately one block from the Marriott and adjacent to the Salt Palace Convention Center. Rates are $139 single/double. The Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown is ASHRAE Headquarters Hotel. The Technical Committee meetings will be held at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center. Shilo Inns also offers rooms in the area. ASHRAE Seeks to Leave Sustainable Footprint in Salt Lake CityASHRAE is launching a new program to provide technical and financial support for a sustainable project in the cities where Society meetings take place, leaving a legacy demonstrating the Society’s commitment to sustainability. Beginning with the 2008 Annual Meeting in Salt Lake, ASHRAE is seeking donations from meeting attendees to go toward supporting a local green project or green enhancement to an existing project. The Technical Program, Registration, ASHRAE Bookstore and the Speaker’s Lounge will be located in the Salt Palace Convention Center. Standing committees and subcommittee meetings will be held in the Salt Lake Marriott and Salt Palace Convention Center.
